  • Eye of the storm

    Standing right underneath the eye of a solar storm. At this point we can see everything as if in daylight.

  • Before the storm

    This was taken just seconds before the Aurora unleashed a full strength storm overhead, which lit up the entire sky.

  • Then the sky exploded

    For 20 seconds on a windy, cold arctic night, standing upon a frozen lake, the sky blew up. What was once dark, was now light. The Northern Lights were casting shadows.
